CMH TEACHING

ACADEMIC CURRICULUM AND INDUSTRY SKILLS

THE OBJECTIVE OF CMH TEACHING

We strive to ensure that our students are successful both in terms of their professional goals and personal development.

From the beginning of their studies, each student is supported and guided in their choices by a professional coach who specialises in career management:

  • Career administration
  • Personal development
  • Identification of skills
  • Establishment of an academic path
  • Development of a career path
  • Group dynamic
  • Level 1 and 2 RNCP certifications guaranteeing professional success

THE 3 PARTS OF CMH TEACHING

  • An academic curriculum

Because CMH is first and foremost a management school, its courses aim to teach the basics of management. This foundation of knowledge is then applied and adapted to the very distinctive world of hospitality.

  • The learning of interpersonal skills

One of the keys to employability is interpersonal skills, hence why this is an integral part of our teaching. We also require that our students adopt the attitudes and behaviours required in the workplace from the very beginning of their course.

  • Managing a career plan

We place emphasis on the management of a career plan through our Career Centre on our campuses in Paris and London.

CAREER CENTRE AND PROFESSIONS

Through the Career Centre, CMH develops links with companies and supports students in their search for internships or professional training contracts.

The Career Centre department offers:

  • A guide of skills
  • Internship offers, professional projects and jobs.
  • Internship and employment research tools and techniques, in French and in English
  • Getting in touch with recruiting companies
  • Writing a CV and cover letter
  • Filming a CV video
  • Interview techniques
  • Individual interviews to advise, define and target the business plan
  • Career development sessions that aim to get participants to better position themselves, particularly in terms of their personal and professional aspirations
