Reporting to the hotel’s General Management, the Sales & Marketing Director oversees all sales and marketing activities for the property. They may also oversee external communications and press and media relations.

Several years of operational experience is a significant asset for this position.

The keys to success in this position

Their main responsibilities are:

– Define the hotel’s sales strategy in collaboration with General Management and implement it,

– Define the pricing policy, in agreement with the Revenue Manager,

– Define the operational marketing plan and communication strategies,

– Establish sales objectives and forecasts, and develop budgets,

– Supervise the teams responsible for implementing the sales policy,

– Represent the hotel at major events (trade fairs, networking events, etc.),

– Participate in high-level sales negotiations, oversee commercial partnerships, and directly monitor key accounts

– Good knowledge and experience of the sector

Opportunities

The Marketing Director can progress to a position of General Manager of an establishment

Salary range

At the start of their career, the tourism marketing director earns between €4,000 and €6,000 gross per month.
