A HOSPITALITY PROFESSION

General presentation of the profession

In charge of the web budget, they decide the different web-marketing levers to activate: natural and paid SEO, emailing, affiliation, display, setting up partnerships, social networks etc., to increase traffic, improve the company reputation and retain Internet users.
They must always develop the technology of their e-commerce site, for example by improving the features.

The keys to success at this job

Always on standby, they are very familiar with the e-commerce sector, always keeping an eye on the main competitors and new market opportunities (in France and internationally).
Knowing how to work with the figures, the E-commerce Manager analyses financial dashboards and provides reports to their superiors.

Required skills

Methodical, rigorous and creative! The E-commerce Manager knows how to make decisions, has good summarising ability and is flexible. They must, of course, have a feel for sales, good technical skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
