Combining advanced skills in management and marketing, the Yield Manager juggles the price of reservations and the number of places available to optimise sales prices. They regularly break these with last minute deals. It is therefore the Yield Manager who sets the rates for low-cost flights. With an eye constantly on the performance of the competition, they are perfectly familiar with the quiet and busy periods of the tourism sector.

The keys to success at this job

The Yield Manager operates across all the departments of the company. In direct contact with the ticket sales and marketing teams, they must demonstrate both excellent responsiveness and a great sense of organisation. They also externally collect and analyse data concerning the market and geopolitical context, as well as the plans of other suppliers.

Salary range

The salary range of a Yield Manager is a gross annual rate of between €28,000 and €35,000 for positions at the beginning of a career. After several years of experience, the average gross annual salary can reach €60,000.
